The 2012 awards are the eleventh year of the Indie RPG Awards, as indie RPGs continue to mature and change. This year, the two top games were both derived from the winner of 2010 - D. Vincent Baker's Apocalypse World. This at least shows some consistency in the awards. There were also many excellent designs from other sources.
