2004 PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD
This Sub-Award is the only award in the bunch that is decided by popular vote - What fun is all this highfalutin' peer judgement stuff without people actually playing the game, right? In the summer, anyone was eligible to vote for this award by mailing in a simple postcard with their votes. People who wanted to support their favorite games and supplements of the previous year were entitled to vote for the game that they thought was the best, the most fun, etc. We received dozens of votes from all over the world!
Before I move on to the awards, I have to share these two postcards I received. Some people sent actual postcards (X-Files, Modern Art, Star Wars, etc), lots of folks just sent a simple index card. A few folks decided to put a little work into a drawing of some sort: I've got Spike-studded Pac Man, A giant scary bloody eye, and a few others including these two. Tres cute:
